Earthling Parametric- Radiata 3D Vase

Gorgeous functional vase made from recycled plastic. The design is inspired by pinus radiata, the monterey pine, which twists in response to stress forces to become stronger and more resilient. Each vase is uniquely crafted by an algorithm, then 3D printed in recycled PLA plastic originally made from corn.
 
The vase is 8 inches tall. The profile, twist amount, direction, and number of ridges will vary.
